Welcome To Tattoo Designs
Advice...

Hey everybody,
Thanks for checking out Tattoo Designs
Advice. I put
this website together to help people who are picking out tattoo designs. Getting a tattoo can be a big
decision because a tattoo will always be a part of your body. When you are picking out a
tattoo design it’s good to have all looked at of the information and advice that you can before you get your
tattoo so that you make the right decision.
Tattoo designs have been around for as long as man has known ink and skin go together. In
fact, tattoos were found on Ötzi the Iceman, Europe's oldest natural human mummy dated around 3300 BC, with 57
tattoos around his body. Other notable examples of prehistoric mummies with tattoos include the Tarim mummies of
China and the Man of Pazyryk, all of which have extensive tattoos exquisitely preserved. Many countries
stretching from Asia to Europe to Africa have a proud heritage of tattooing, with the tattoos serving temporal
and eternal purposes.

For their temporal uses, tattoos served as badges of courage and of loyalty, marks of virility and fertility in
adulthood, and symbols of social and political ranks. For their eternal applications, tattoos represented the
person's quest to be closer to the divine as well as to ask for protection from evil spirits as in the case of
inked amulets. Just to mention a few of the countries in Asia with a proud heritage of tattooing as a body art that
continues to this day, China and Japan immediately comes to mind. Indeed, from these countries come many of our
modern-day inspirations for fantastic tattoo designs like the dragon, the kanji and the deities.
Because of the vast geographical and cultural inspirations from which tattoos come from, it can be safely said
that there are as many tattoo styles as there are many tattoo lovers. After all, you can always customize the
tattoo design that you like to suit your own ink lifestyle and preferences. Regardless of your choice in tattoo
styles, however, one universal advice remains: Think before you ink. Yes, indeed, tattoos are meant to be permanent
body art that will adorn your skin until the day you pass from this world and, if you are lucky, until you, too,
shall become a mummy and becomes the poster child for excellent tattoo art for future generations. So, always
carefully choose your tattoo designs before inking them because you just never know what will happen in the near
and distant future. Plus, you have to wear your tattoos proudly.
And speaking of wearing your tattoos proudly, you should be able to showcase them in ways that will speak of
your unique personality, your unique history and your unique individuality. Let your tattoos scream "This is me".
Or in some cases, "I tattoo, therefore, I think and I ink", to paraphrase a classical saying. As such, it is often
a very good idea to have a clear vision of the meanings, appearance and placement of your tattoos before having
them inked permanently. This way, there will be absolutely no room for regrets especially in such a happy world as
the tattoo universe.
Tattoo designs have a long and proud history in human culture. As such, it is only right that we of the modern
times provide the respect and appreciation that tattoos deserve. We have come a long way indeed in our tattooing
techniques but the values pf self-expression and social belonging inherent in tattoos continue to this day. And
that is reason enough to be happy that you have tattoos.
All the best,
Dylan Douglass
